Milan's Rising Stars

Every time fashion week comes round its always interesting as every city has something to different to offer. Take Milan, the offerings from the Italian capital are always very different from that of say, London.
Milan has a lot to offer in the way of new and upcoming talent, heres my top three picks to keep an eye open for!
Firstly Stella Jean, born in Rome with Haitian roots the upcoming designer has already got people talking. Decribed by Vogue as 'one of Milan's brightest emerging fashion stars' Stella creates beautiful ethnic inspired designs.
She caused more waves this season after being invited by Giorgio Armani himself to show in his Teatro space, in so being the only designer to share the space with Armani. Moreover its been said that most of her collection sold out on matches.com within the first week! In 2011 she won the Vogue Italia Who's On Next talent contest and hasn't disappointed since, definitely one to watch!
Another promising name to remember is Marco De Vincenzo. After first showing four years ago Vincenzo has since become one of Milan's freshest talents, its been rumoured that major conglomerate LVMH is looking to snap him up, need I say more? Vincenzo is known for his obsession with texture and surface treatments, I love the look of his clothes, its very minimalist and chic.
The last big name to look out for; MSGM. A brand created by Massimo Giorgetti in 2009. The brand is already well established in retail, stocked by matches, and hosting a few presentations, but last season marked the first time the brand has shown at Milan Fashion Week, and they didn't disappoint. What defines MSGM is the vivid use of print and mix-and-matching them to great effect. The collection nodded to the hawaiian trend with large tropical prints and tiki motifs.
